In the mood for the latest movie releases? Then you can go to one of the two biggest cinema in town, grab your pop-corn and have a lovely movie night.
Vue, is located in the city centre, and offers renovated rooms with inclinable seats if you want to get comfy. This first multiplex was actually built at the location of the old Concert Hall which was destroyed in a gas explosion in February 1965.
Kinepolis opened a few years ago and is located at the end of the pedestrian bridge of the Paleiskwartier. It is possible to park at the garage nearby.

Whether you are looking for a more artsy movie, a play, a comedy show or even dance and concerts, the Verkadefabriek has you covered. Set in an old cookie factory in the Tramkade area, they offer a comprehensive cultural offering.
If you don't speak Dutch well enough (yet) the filter "No Dutch, no problem" in their online programme is a great feature to make sure you can find an accessible movie or show!
Theater aan de Parade & festival Boulevard
Recently renovated and reopened, the Theater aan de Parade is the main stage of the city. You will find theatre plays, dance, comedy and concerts.
The Parade Square is also one of the main locations of the theatre festival Boulevard which is organised each year during the first half of August. Definitely recommended!
time travel: previous cinemas in 's-Hertogenbosch
The city centre of Den Bosch has hosted many movie theatres over the years and some, even if now closed, can still be observed:
- Cinema Luxor (Hooge Steenweg 15) and is nowadays a shop. But if you enter you can still see some remains of the cinema room in the architecture and decor;
- Cinema Royal's facade (Hinthamerstraat 26) still bears its name and stain glass.
